Cord & Thread - Beadweaving Thread

Fireline

Silamide is a two-ply twisted fiber thread, originally developed for the upholstry industry. The twist gives it exceptional "bounce back" when used on projects that require tension.

The twist also makes it a little more "pierce resistant" than Nymo or C-lon, making it the thread we choose for all our beginning beadweaving classes. The counter effect of the twist is that it is a little more difficult to thread into the needle.

Avaiable in 40 yard cards and 350 yard spools.
Silamide Bead Weaving Thread

This is the owner's thread of choice for beadweaving. " I love it because it feels like thread in your hand, and it has a fair amount of stretch for the best tension I've ever gotten with any thread. My students love it too!" Japanese nylon beading thread developed to be suitable for use with Swarovski Crystals. Hand is more like thread than Fireline. Very tangle resistant.
Sono Beading Thread

Stretchy
This parallel fiber thread will fit through a #12 beading Needle. It has the feel of Nymo, but comes close tothe strangth of Power Pro. It can be used for any kind of beadweaving.
